[Windows] Problems after upgrading to 4.3 - (fixed in 4.3.3)

When upgrading from 4.2.7 to any of the versions of 4.3 the follwing info is generated
“Waiting for all MinIO sub-systems to be initialized… possible cause (Unable to list buckets to heal: disk not found)”
I have no clue about likely consequences of this info which is reflected on Storage component as

I am using Cells 4.3.2 running behind an Apache reverse proxy.
The Web servers runs on Windows 10 x64 with
Apache/2.4.41 (Win64) OpenSSL/1.0.2s PHP/7.3.13 MariaDB 10.5.13

The problem is browser independent.

Downgrading Cells to 4.2.7 fixes the problem which reappears after upgrading to 4.3.2

Help and suggestions are most welcome

This seems to be a Windows specific problem. We’ll have a look but we cannot promise when.

Hi, Same problem here, upgraded from 4.2.6 to 4.3.0 on Windows.

I’m currently running 4.2.7 on linux (Ubuntu 22.04 3 - pydio cells binaries behind a nginx web proxy) and upgrading to 4.3.x breaks all file access and thumbnails. I am utilizing s3 object storage for my datasources. Until this bug is fixed i am unable to upgrade.

we have currently a few instances that run on Ubuntu 22 and that we upgraded to v4.3.x without issue.
So not sure that it is the same problem.

@all It would be very helpful if you could try to give more details, and specially some logs to help us investigate the issue.

Hi @c12simple
After my last message I cleaned the entries on hydra_jwk table and corrected the data associated with the Mailer plugin and when I restarted the system everything was working fine again.

hi i have some questions regarding this, as im facing the same issue for manually added custom storages

  1. did you try the dev build that was mentioned? did it fix the issues? did you clear hydra_jwk and correct the mailer data in this dev build mentioned here or in the latest stable build in the official download link?
    Problems after upgrading to 4.3 (whatever subversion of it) - #7 by c12simple

  2. when you say “cleaned the entries on hydra_jwk table” do you mean you cleared all rows in this table?

  3. what do you mean by " corrected the data associated with the Mailer plugin"? im unfamiliar with that entire sentence.

what im terying to do is use existing files in pydio as a workspace
this data is stored in E:/backups/androids
a large folder with many sub folders, (very big total size)

pydio is set up to use external storage in E:\Pydio like this

edit: while i was typing this it started working again as i restarted the whole process after deleting the leftover folders(.minio.sys) and files(guid files) from the previous “create datasource” located at
E:\Pydio
E:\Pydio.minio.sys\buckets
E:\backups

seems to be scanning the filesystem in the selected directory now

I can only answer the initial questions concerning what I said previously:

  1. Yes I did try the dev that now is replaced by 4.3.3
  2. I had to remove all the entries from hydra_jwk table as this was recomended (in my case) during the boot process
  3. Somehow my mailer configurations became non functional (could not reach the SMTP server) and this was reported also during the boot process

I can not answer the other more technical questions

ah mailer as in emailing, ok i guess thats find for my use case,

the new version seems to work fine for me now,
theres just one thing, that i dont understand

i added a storage folder using the option “import existing data”
things seemed to be fine, it was going through all the files and folders and finally it started a “thing”

a bunch of jobs, ill just add a screenshot, but basically its been going on for over 24 hours now,

@c2simple is this normal?
