We cannot adjust Application Parameters on a per user basis (V8.0.2)
Global setting:
Configuration Management > Users Directory Listing
See existing users: on
Share with existing users from all groups: off
List existing from all groups: off
Per user:
Share with existing users from all groups: on
List existing from all groups: on
Expecting behaviour:
The user with per user Application Parameters should have access to all internal user for sharing
What do we miss?
Does someone have experience in adjusting Application Parameter? Is my question not clear enough? We deny “Share with existing users from all groups” globally and want to enable it for People or Roles. This is not working. At least it seems to for us.

did you create a role ( let’s call it for example sharing group ) then you set this group to have share with existing users from all groups enabled then instead of editing users one by one you just have to assign them to the role.
We tried a couple of combinations so far.
Just now i cleaned up the Application Parameter in the settings of the Testuser (me) and created a new role (Share Admin) with the corresponding settings. Attached you can find the global settings from Configuration Management and the Role-Settings. The Role is applied to the Test user. No change in the behaviour… From a logical point of view the settings which are overwritten in the Role must work. But they dont. Mmh.
