Zoho is not working

Hey there,

I’m running Pydio 8.2.3 on an online server.
I try to use Zoho but I got these error whein trying opening a file :

Client error response [url] https://exportwriter.zoho.com/remotedoc.im [status code] 401 [reason phrase] Unauthorized

Server error response [url] https://sheet.zoho.com/remotedoc.im [status code] 500 [reason phrase] Internal Server Error

It’s been hours that I try to make it working.

Here is some logs from the server :

“GET /index.php?secure_token=####&get_action=post_to_zohoserver&file=####=&parent_url=####== HTTP/2.0” 401 201 “https://####/ws-default/” “Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/74.0.3729.157 Safari/537.36”

And I only got this error but I don’t think it’s related :

AH01276: Cannot serve directory /####/: No matching DirectoryIndex (index.php,index.php5,index.php4,index.php3,index.perl,index.pl,index.plx,index.ppl,index.cgi,index.jsp,index.jp,index.phtml,index.shtml,index.xhtml,index.html,index.htm,index.wml,Default.html,Default.htm,default.html,default.htm,home.html,home.htm,index.js) found, and server-generated directory index forbidden by Options directive

Do you have any tips please ?

Thanks !

It should be problem of api.

Please verify api string and its validity.and set plugins/editor.zoho/agent writable for apache

I generated a new api and same problem.
The website to generate the API is : https://officeapi.zoho.eu ?

Because the link in the doc is dead.

I set 777 for testing and it’s not working.

Thanks for your help

Do you have default .htaccess (https://github.com/pydio/pydio-core/blob/develop/core/src/.htaccess) ?
what do you have in result when you browse http://domain//plugins/editor.zoho/agent/save_zoho.php ?

Yes it was the default, I remplaced it by yours anyway.
It redirect the http to the https and it’s a blank page.

Still not working

edit : I installed Pydio with cpanel ( Softaculous Apps Installer ) because I didn’t achieve to install it manually. Do you think it can be that ?

New edit : installed Pydio manually, and have the same problem.

is “allow_open_url” is enabled or somthing may block request to zoho server !?

Hello. Yes it’s enabled…

I don’t understand why it’s not working. I guess i’ts because my server is mutualised and maybe there is security reason that I can’t overpass.

I leave Zoho, I will find another solution ( I installed with success etherpad on my server )

But I have another problem. Maybe you could help me : Shared link : blank page

I guess it’s related, problem of right access ?

Thanks a lot for your help anyway !

Have same problem.

Pydio is working fine. Installed according to official guides to a clean server.
Receive error 500 when trying to open an office document with Zoho plugin…

its broken…

Hi @SocialCrypt-Verify what about using Pydio Cells with OnlyOffice instead? It’s much more easy to setup

Hi Charles.
Unfortunately I would never choose Pydio Cells over Pydio 8/9 for home use…

No sync
phone apps not working properly
unable to customise interface
no flexibility… and I mean no flexibility at all…
Apart from a well-coded Go-backend there’s no real reason for choosing Cells over Pydio 8 or even Nextcloud for home usage…

I have noticed that you try to push the Cells on every corner but in reality it is useful only in Enterprise application… But even then don’t see a reason for preferring it over the p2p sync like Resillio Enterprise for example…

thats just my thoughts on your question.
Cheers )

Hi @SocialCrypt-Verify

It’s very tempting but let’s not argue for hours ;-). That’s your opinion, no worries.

But, I cannot resist :

  • Yes we are pushing Pydio Cells because we are convinced that a “well-coded go backend” is much more future-proof than a 10y-old php backend for managing files (especially lots of big files).
  • New sync is on its way,
  • Mobile apps are working properly, did you test them recently? If you detect some issues please post them!
  • The whole code is open source and is as much flexible as the previous version, and even more with the micro-services architecture. API’s are way more clean in Cells that in P8.

Just be aware that we won’t have the resource to maintain two codebases for years: support for P8 will be dropped at one point. But if you are a PHP developer (which you seem to be), code will stay available of course.

Well, that sounds good.
Regarding the apps, just check all recent comments both on Android Play Market and iOS )) so I wont double that here.

But I will definitely consider migrating to Cells when it will get ahead of Pydio 8 in terms of functionality and usability across all devices.

quick questions:
Will the sync for Cells be based on your previous “silly” sync engine?
What about Pydio 9 in go?

I don’t want to be harsh, but I wonder if you just want to troll or if you want to contribute positively. Please be more specific otherwise you are wasting both your and my time. If it’s just about saying “stuff is bullshit”, I wonder why you still use pydio, be my guest to use nextcloud.

Maybe you are not aware that people always post bad reviews when they have issues and never post good ones once problems are fixed. Do YOU experience particular issues with the mobile apps: which one, in which condition, on which server configuration (p8/cells)? If you can describe issues, maybe we can work on them and fix them. That’s what we call Open Source.

Can you be very specific about the functionalities of P8 that you cannot find in Cells?

What are you referring to ?

I don’t know what you are talking about. P9 in go is Pydio Cells.

Finally, regarding your initial post about Zoho, exactly the same question:

If you do not specify what you exactly did (enable the plugin, set up private key, php version, pydio version, etc), there is no way we can help. Zoho plugin is working, we have customers using it without issues. But it may be tricky to configure. Posting “its broken” is really not helpful for anyone.

Hey there,

Does Pydio 8.2.3 latest version?
