I hava a Asustor AS5402T NAS. I am running Pydio Cells Home Edition 4.4.0 from April 3, 2024.
I have a MacBook Air and dowloaded CellsSync for Mac. The first time I did not fill in the right ip address with port so it did not work. When I tried to open the app again it did do nothing. I can not try to connect again, I don’t have a sync folder, nothing at all. I removed the app, had to kill processes otherwise I could not remove the app from my Mac. Downloaded CellsSync for Mac again, tried to open the app, did not see anything. In the activity terminal I can see the app is running, but can’t do anything with it. No sync folder nothing.
Who can help me?
hi @pete
There are some points to check:
- Cells-sync service requires http v2 to be able to support grpc transport.
- If you are running self-signed certificate, please install the caRoot to your system trust root. Cells Sync: connection closed before server preface received - #6 by taki-eddine
Hello
You can try below steps -
-Make sure you’ve entered the correct IP address and port for your Pydio Cells server.
-Try resetting the client to its default settings.
-Check if your firewall allows the sync client to communicate with your NAS.
-Ensure your Mac meets the system requirements for the sync client.
-If the issue persists, contact Pydio support for assistance.
Hope this helps!
Thank you
