[SOLVED] API to upload files to public folder with password authentication only

Hi,

I’d like external clients/users to be able to upload in automated fashion files to my public folder that is password protected.
Is it possible to get this done via REST API?

It also looks like there is no way to set expiration on public link for longer than 30 days.
Is there a way to have this changed to an year?
