Install Pydio Cells V2 on Ubuntu 18.04

Hi there,
is there any good step-by-step guidance out there yet, that helps through the install process of Pydio Cells V2 on Ubuntu?
Things like “Pydio Cells V2 doesn’t even need php” are not clear to me. Is php intirely obsolete?
Let’s say I’m not a Terminal hero ; ), so a collection of the main steps/commands to install Pydio Cells and run it on a Ubuntu VPS would help a lot. Thanks for any advice!
