File upload stuck on "Preparing files for upload"

Hello.

Pydio Cells version 2.1.6.
Running on Docker (pydio/cells:2.1.6 image).

While trying to upload a file with name ², the upload is stuck on “Preparing files for upload”. This action also does not cause any logs to be written. Same behavior on Pydio Cells Demo.

hello @giesmininkas,

naming your folder ² , special char such as this should be avoided, we are using an S3 backend therefore it is better to stick to this type of naming (link below).

Yes, of course. I understand that. But it would be nice to maybe have en error message or some other kind of validation. Now it’s just stuck on uploading and the message goes away after page refresh.
