Read .flac audio files as media files

Hi all,
I’m using Cells v4 and I can see that flac files are not recognized as audio files.
According to this: https://caniuse.com/flac
flac files can be read by browsers.

Why Pydio cannot?

It could be great to have such feature.

I’d love to have FLAC and a dozen more file formats to be recognised :slight_smile:

Browsers have some limitations in file handling :wink:
Flac is supported out-of-the-box by all browsers: adding that should/could be simple as edit a configuration file :smiley:

We add this today for the 4.0.3.

Could you have a look at the latest build and tell us if it is OK?

It’s because your Cells is in Italian :slight_smile: (pun intended …)

or more seriously, I was talking about the latest dev build that you can directly download from our DL server. (but you are totally right to refrain using such things in production…).

Anyway, the 4.0.3 is now officially out, you should see it in your list!!
