Issues with uploading MacOS files (for example .pages)

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced similar problems: when I try to upload a MacOS file such as a document from the app Pages (which has the extension .pages), Pydio cells accepted the file, but ‘deconstructed’ it into components, instead of saving it as a single file…

Anybody can shed some light on this please? Thank you so much!

this is an old one, and there’s not much we can do about it. These macOs docs (Pages, Keynotes, etc) are in fact stored as folders on your Mac (although you do not see it) and uploading them through the browser will upload a folder. You may have to compress them as a zip ?
