Slow Download Process

Pydio 8.2.5 on Ubuntu 18 Have SMB workspace with ldap authentication.

My issue when trying to download from a workspace it takes quite awhile for the download to start anywhere from 1-10 mins, depending on size. These files range from 1-5GB in size so they are not massive in any way.

Is there a scanning process that I can bypass and have it download like an FTP site?

Hello,

No scanning process.
If you have smb, the downloaded file will be copied to pydio server then return to client.
So it takes time to copy from smb to server.
