PydioSync - Client offered an unsupported, maximum protocol version of 301

Hello.
I installed pydio cells with a self-sign certificate for testing purposes. The web client works fine!
I want to use pydio sync for osx, however when I want to login and have Trust SSl certificate checked I get the following error on my server

INFO	http: TLS handshake error from _xx.xx.xx.xx:xxxx_ tls: client offered an unsupported, maximum protocol version of 301

I am on macOS Sierra (10.12.6).
Pydio Cells 1.0.4
PydioSync 1.2.8
