I am trying to get cells to work on Windows Server 2022. I have it installed and I can run it locally but I am not able to add any sites because using the command line outputs random characters that make it impossible to understand. I’m guessing it has something to do with the character sets but I am at a loss and I could really use them help.
Yes indeed, it seems like the integration with the CLI in windows is clumsy and barely usable (again) since v4. We will see what we can do.
In the meantime, you can simply launch the browser install with:
.\cells.exe configure --bind :8080
(change the port if necessary) and it directly launches the browser install. This should let you at least getting started.
