trying to find the mysql logs , where are they on windows?
i see a lot of stuff in C:\ProgramData\MySQL\MySQL Server 8.0
but cant find a log

found the logs, checking now

nothing odd in the .err file, the .log file has a lot of logs, but i think its just table creations, etc.

I got the same problem on my windows 11.

I did install & the first startup of cells in several command line environments:

  • Windows Command Prompt: failed
  • Vs Code terminal (powershell): failed
  • Windows PowerShell: OK

Can you try to the “first startup” of cells in Window PowerShell?

Oh, I did initially isenpowershel. But running the exe didn’t work at all, so I switched to CMD. I’ll try out power shell again.

using powershell seems to have done the trick,

there is one concern,
i get this message in the output non-stop

i do have a separate question,

Something seems to be still misconfigured.
If one of your datasource uses this object (check the pydio.json conf file and look for services with name "pydio.grpc.data.sync.XXX that have this parameter set: "ObjectsServiceName": "local1",), it won’t work (e.G unable to upload file)

Yes when you create a new datasource you can choose between 2 formats:

  • flat: the default, faster and more reliable for huge FS, files are stored by UUID and the index is only in the DB
  • structured: files are stored in a tree on the FS that mirrors the tree you see in Cells

this part is confusing as flat is an available option, but there is no option called structured explicitly.

The description is quite explicit:
“Import Existing Data
Files and Folder are stored as-is”

This is the legacy “structured” format.
