Users logged out immediately after login

Hi guys,

Users cannot login to the web interface properly due to some strange error like ‘emptyIDtoken’ . I could not find out the reason, then I upgraded cells from version 2.1.5 to 2.2. But the problem is still there.
Symptom is like user successfully logged in, then it logged out immediately with popup message ‘Unauthorized’.
Below is few lines of log:

Could you help me on this problem?

Hello,

We have already seen this issue by others lately and it generally has one of these 2 root causes:

  • A cache issue in the client browser: can you insure your browser cache is completely empty by doing a hard rfresh and / or using private navigation ?

  • A clock issue: token require a valid time to be correct. Are you sure your computer and server are correctly connected to a NTP and in sync ?

Hi,
You have saved my ass! The cause was server time. I did not notice that server time was out of sync with NTP. It’s fixed by configuring NTP date. Thank you so much!
