@hbogner as explained here and there in other threads, this limitation is currently implied by one of our dependency (namely micro). We have to fork this to fix it. It’s in the todo.

even for 1.2.5 php is not more required.
Why is that requirement NOT documented in https://www.pydio.com/en/docs/cells/v1/requirements
but only in https://www.pydio.com/en/docs/cells/v1/troubleshooting when it is clearly a requirement…
