# What is the best alternative to Digital Ocean for a VPS server?

Before diving into some of the best DigitalOcean alternatives. I am looking for alternative in terms of Affordability, server management, Support, Best speed performance & pricing.

Hi,
The best alternative is Linode or Vultr. Thinking why I have said that?
**Pros of Linode:**
1. Affordable
2. Linux powered Machines
3. Powerful API
4. Classy Support
**Pros of Vultr:**
1. 16 datacenters
2. Affordability
3. Mount own ISO for OS
4. Best speed performance
**CONS of both:**
1. Server Management
2. App Deployment takes time
I would recommend trying the Cloudways, offers managed cloud hosting solution of all top Cloud hosting providers which include
AWS
Google Cloud
Digital Ocean
Linode
Vultr
All cloud hosting can be easily managed through clicks and if there is a need resources can be easily scaled just through a drag functionality.

I personally like digitalOcean very much. I mean despite being the late commer in the hosting industry it gather the market share very quickly and is now ranked among the top 3 hosting providers available in the industry. Howeve, to answer your question: I read an article on Magenticians about the [best Magento hosting provider](https://magenticians.com/best-magento-hosting/). I really liked the article and I guess you can also get the benefit out of it. As, you could find the alternatives to DigitalOcean server .
