# Upgrading from Ajaxplorer

Can anyone tell me how difficult or easy it is upgrading an early version of Ajaxplorer to the newest version of Pydio.

It’s very difficult.  
You’ll have to upgrade to P6/7/8 then do another instance of Cells to import users and configurations.  
It’s may be easier to reinstall.
