# Ladon validation failed

Hi,
after installing cells, I have the following error while logging:
“Error 3995: Character set ‘utf8\_general\_ci’ cannot be used in conjunction with ‘binary’ in call to regexp\_like.”
Installation on an Ubuntu server, with mysql 8.0.23.
Bug on mySql or configuration error?

Helloe @rrobertson, there’s a **cells** issue with 8.0.23 - we are looking at it, please use 8.0.21 or lower for the moment (there was a **mysql** bug with 8.0.22).

For the record the issue with MySQL 8.0.23 has been solved and the fix is included in the brand new [v2.2.0](https://pydio.com/en/community/releases/pydio-cells/pydio-cells-enterprise-220)
