# Install Pydio Cells V2 on Ubuntu 18.04

Hi there,  
is there any good step-by-step guidance out there yet, that helps through the install process of Pydio Cells **V2** on Ubuntu?  
Things like “_Pydio Cells V2 doesn’t even need php_” are not clear to me. Is php intirely obsolete?  
Let’s say I’m not a Terminal hero ; ), so a collection of the main steps/commands to install Pydio Cells and run it on a Ubuntu VPS would help a lot. Thanks for any advice!
