# Error when accessing pydio - dont believe its installed right

info :-

I have installed pydio 6.0.8 for debian, i am trying to set it up. Ive not much of a clue how i do this correctly, the database is now created, however i need to edit some files i believe so config find the files in the right directories, can someone assist, i seem to be getting an error. I want to use the pydiodirect symbolic link at the bottom to find the directories.

Error :-

Impossible write into the AJXP\_DATA\_PATH folder: Make sure to grant write access to this folder for your webserver!

package installed :-

ii pydio 6.0.8 all Build your own box on your own servers with Pydio.

Hi there,  
i would advise you to install Pydio 8 as the installer is easier,  
as for this error

you should just give rights with `chmod -R 755` to the pydio/data/ folder and you can also give chown -R www-data:www-data to the Pydio directory.
