# Cells being created for every shares

For first post, please answer the questions below!

### Describe your issue in detail

I am a bit confused with how shares work in Pydio cells, when users share files, a new cell is created for each and the list of cells goes so long that it is hard to find the shared file.

### What version of Cells are you using?

4.4.0

### What is the server OS? Database name/version? Browser name or mobile device description (if an issue appears client-side)?

Fedora Workstation 39, Mariadb 10.5.23

### What steps have you taken to resolve this issue already?

I tried masking those cells but it is tedious to do that for every shares from other users

I think that is the intended feature, but it would be best if there was a guide for users tbh, otherwise it’s impossible to know how things work.
