# AWS amazon S3 external link not working

Hi! I’m running Pydio v8.2.1 and I would like to use the aws s3 bucket for storage. I can see and upload files but if I try to generate an external public link, I tick the box and nothing happens.  
Can anyone help?

Hi,

Go to Pydio Settings \>\> workspace \>\> open workspace \>\> add “Meta store” and select one
